The NRPC sets and upholds the highest standards and ethics for Prison Consultants 

 Ethical standards and requirements

  3. Promote the highest level of service and consumer confidence for prison consultants, nationwide.
  4. To create and maintain a business climate where prison consultants can be proud of their industry and maintain the highest of operational standards.
  5. Unite to enforce a moral code of business ethics based on honesty, integrity, education and quality. 
  6. The NRPC is an organization that sets various guidelines so that prison consultants (former felons) are expected to behave ethically and avoid the temptation of unethical behavior that can damage the entire industry.
  7. Businesses are more likely to succeed when they govern themselves in ethically, embracing honesty, integrity and quality.



NRPC ACCREDITATION
  1. If a Prison Consultant has been accredited by the NRPC, it means the NRPC has determined that the consultant meets the standards which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints.
  2. NRPC accredited businesses pay a fee for accreditation review/monitoring and for the support of NRPC services to the public.
  3. NRPC Code of Business Practices represents the standards for business accreditation by NRPC. Prison Consultants based in the United States that meet these standards and complete all application procedures will be accredited by NRPC.
  4. The Code is built on the NRPC Standards for Trust, the highest level of ethical behavior, continuing education and maintaining a blemish free record of trust in business.
  5. The NRPC accreditation means that a Prison Consultant has been evaluated by NRPC and has made a determination as to the consultants' competency in performing their services.
  6. Prison Consultants are under no obligation to seek NRPC accreditation and some consultants are not accredited because they have not sought NRPC accreditation.
